Message from ERS

Dear Parents and Students of Eagle River Secondary,

As you are aware of by now, the physical building of Eagle River Secondary is closed due to COVIT-19.  As I walked into the school this morning, it was odd to not hear noises coming the gym due to AM Fitness, the chattering of students in the hallways or the musical tunes from the piano next to the band room.  I am sure that you are also finding it difficult adjusting to our current reality.  I am also sure that you have more questions than answers right now – I will do my best to answer your questions throughout the week and beyond.

The goal this week is to connect with you all via a phone call.  You will be receiving a phone call from one or our staff members this week. As we are familiarizing ourselves with a new on-line system, this phone call will may not come from the ERS telephone number; it will be generated through teachers’ computers.  The goal of the phone call is to reconnect with students and families and to determine how we can best support continued learning. I know that this will look different for each family.

Please be aware that our staff misses you all – we miss the social interactions with you and our shared learning experiences.  We all look forward to the time when we can all be in the same building together!
