Next 2 Weeks at a Glance
As the first full week of school comes to a close, I would like to share again how great it is to have staff and students back in the building. While this is not a normal year, students have done an amazing job following all of the new safety protocols as well as getting back into the swing of learning.
As we are starting to fire up our breakfast and lunch programs it is important for students to remember to wear their masks when cohorts are mixing. Staff will provide friendly reminders to students as we move forward with these programs.
I would also like to stress the importance of student attendance. There is a direct link between student attendance/tardiness and student success at school. Having said that, if your child is sick, please keep them at home and then contact the school so that homework can be provided.
Also, if you know your child is going to be away or late (ie. for appointments, family activity….), please call the office to excuse the absence. If your child needs to leave school early on a specific day, please the call the school to let us know that you approve of the early dismissal.
Have a restful weekend!
