Next Few Weeks @ a Glance

The end of this week marks the End of Week 3 of 9 in Quarter 2. I was very impressed with the report cards that came out last week for Quarter 1. We had our highest percentage of “G Club” (all Gs for effort on a report card) students in the past 4 years!

I would like to remind parents to please call the office (250-836-2831) if you know that you child will be away from school. And, students, if you are late coming to school it is important that you sign in at the office.

Attendance matters – so please do you best to come to school and arrive on time.

Here are few events coming up in the next few weeks that you need to be aware of:

Monday, Nov 30th – Grad Meeting at 5 pm via Zoom (link sent to Grad parents)
Wednesday (Dec 2nd) and Thursday (Dec 3rd) – Grad Photos in Cafeteria
Wednesday, Dec 2nd – Rotary Lunch (out of Foods Room)
Thursday, Dec 3rd – Pizza Day (out of Foods Room)
Friday, Dec 4th – G Club Lunch

Monday, Dec 7-11 – Communication Week for Quarter 2
As a result of this timeframe, we will be having our Communication Week next week. This means that staff will either be emailing, calling or sending documentation home that speaks to student progress to date.

Monday, Dec 14-18th – Spirit Week – organized by Leadership class
Wednesday, Dec 16th – all locks and contents out of all lockers by the of end of the school day for a ‘deep’ cleaning – lockers will be accessible after Winter Break.
Friday, Dec 18th – ‘Hall’iday Feast for all students (more details to come on this as we get closer).
