Week of Dec 13-17

Good afternoon parents/students,

As we enter the last week before Winter Break, I just wanted to give everyone an overview of the next few days. Before that, though, I would like to thank Mr. Wagstaff and our Leadership class for organizing our annual food bank drive. Also, another special thank you to Mr. Bellows and Mr. Taber for organizing the Ski/Snowboard trips this year and to Mrs. Osmundson and her foods class for preparing our Holiday Feast, Rotary lunches and community outreach! It is so great to see so many of our kids participating in these events.

Tuesday, December 14th – Locker Clean out in the morning (and Pizza Day)
Wednesday, December 15th – Jazz Band Concert at 6:30 pm
Thursday, December 16th – School Wide Tube Town Field Trip – buses leave at 9:20 am sharp and they will return by 3:35 pm. Students are expected to dress warmly (there will be snow and we are on a mountain), pack a lunch and/or bring money for the concession. Students are expected to wear a mask on the bus as well as when they are on the conveyer belt heading towards the top of the Tube Town run. Also, personal SPEAKERS are not permitted on the trip. Please leave them at home. If you have not returned your permission slip, please do so by the end of the day on Tuesday. Thank you to the Sicamous Legion and the ERS PAC for supporting this winter adventure.
Friday, December 17th – School wide Holiday Feast (turkey, gravy, potatoes…) @ 11 am followed by our annual 3-3 basketball tournament (starting at 12:45 pm). Be sure to get your teams into Mr. Wagstaff by Tuesday morning.
Tuesday, January 4th – First day back from Winter Break
